Due to a huge influx of pledges last night before the Kickstarter drive finished up, we raised enough for me to get a guitar to replace my poor, aging Seagull, and in the next few weeks we will be able to purchase recording equipment. Wow. We’re down to the wire for fundraising on this album and it’s gone AWESOME. I’m so excited!! I don’t know that I ever thought I’d be able to raise almost $700 to record my own album, but there ya go. Yay!

I was silly.  I got excited, started a kickstarter project, figured I could ALWAYS raise more money LATER for the CD project, and DID NOT get a quote from the CD printer that I’m hoping to use for the project.
