General Update and A Couple of Gigs!
So it’s been a while.
It’s been a slightly busy couple of weeks but I think I owe y’all an update since the Kickstarter ended. I got recording stuff. Katt and I will start working on recording in about mid-May after she gets done with school for the semester and beyond that I don’t have a definite schedule for things yet. I keep meaning to sit down and make one out and I keep not having the time. But I WILL! As it stands it looks like it’s probably going to be a project that takes us anywhere from six months to a year to finish completely, but I am also hoping to upload tracks to my bandcamp site (it’s here: http://crystalwolf.bandcamp.com if you’d like to check it out) as we get them recorded, mixed, and mastered, so that you’ll have something to listen to until I have a physical CD for you.
IN the meantime, the band I sometimes play with, “Wax Chaotic”, has two-count-em-two gigs on our calendar! We’re working on a third, but that’s all hush hush right now.
We will be playing a small concert at Inconjunction in Indianapolis, Indiana on the weekend of July 2nd, 2011. We don’t know the exact date and time but I will let you know as soon as we do, and in the MEANTIME you should go check out their website at http://www.inconjunction.org/. They’re our “home convention” so we’re jazzed about that.
ALSO, as of today we are going to be playing at Chambanacon opening up for Tom Smith! =D We’re big Tom fans so we’re pretty pumped about that too, and it’ll be the first time we’ve been to Chambanacon. We’ve been told it’s veeeery filk-friendly, so it should be a lot of fun.

Other than that we’re trying to russel up some house concerts and whatnot, and I’ll pretty much play wherever I’m asked to, lol. I did land a new day job which is rather nice… doesn’t allow for quite as much free time but it DOES help with the paying of bills, so the fiance is happy.
So all in all life’s not too bad and the music is coming along nicely.
I just wanted to keep you guys posted and let you know I’m still out here, I didn’t take the kickstarter money and run.
I will continue to keep you posted on the CD project as we go along. Thanks for hangin’ in there with me!
