Tangible Updates:-Lacemaking is far less painful and slow with proper lace yarn. Still tiring, though. Also, I definitely need stiffer fabric or a lace pillow; the muslin I used keeps sagging or puckering eventually, no matter how tight I try to make my embroidery hoop. Tangible updates: I'm thinking of learning needle-lace. Apparently it's just couching and buttonhole stitches--the main drawback is that it can take a LONG time to make. On the other hand, it seems like it would translate really well to Celtic knotwork, so I'm going to see what I can do.
