Come May I will have earned a B.A. in Mass Communications, or, as one of my professors called it, “a degree in advanced T.V. watching.” This degree includes a second emphasis in journalism. Basically, in a month’s time, I’ll be really qualified to blog about T.V.

So, I'm working on my story for Fiction Writing class and I'm trying to decide which story I want to workshop. I've narrowed it down to two, but I'm not sure which to submit.

I'm taking an intro to video production class this semester and for our final project we have to tell a classic fairytale.  The video can be between 2-4 minutes and these our are choices: Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Narcissus, Pandora or An Appointment in Samara.  I haven't a clue which to do or how to tell it.  *puts on ( Read more... )

I started reading fandomsecrets which has informed me that I am indeed a BNF (Big Named Fan) basically, a lot of people read my fic and comment so therefore I can be intimidating.  Which is funny if only because I'm so not a presence on Livejournal and I became a BNF in my 2 fandoms (BTVS and Forever Knight) by ignoring everything else and writing my own fic, ( Read more... )

 Just posted the latest chapter of Gotham Slayer.  Finally the big reveal, Bruce Wayne is Batman!  Oops, sorry for the spoiler  ;-)

The chapter kind of gave me fits.  Maybe it was pacing, it's a very moody piece so it had to be just right.  I think I got it pretty close to perfect, but it was a near thing.  I was tinkering with word choice right ( Read more... )
