I'm taking an intro to video production class this semester and for our final project we have to tell a classic fairytale. The video can be between 2-4 minutes and these our are choices: Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Narcissus, Pandora or
An Appointment in Samara. I haven't a clue which to do or how to tell it. *puts on thinking cap*
Most of my ideas are coming out like this-

Edit- Here's the treatment I'm going with:
Dead in the WaterThomas “Mack” Macintyre is a hard living, occasionally sober detective working out of dingy office in a part of town that’s seen better days. He’s just settling down for nice chat with his good friend Jack when, wouldn’t you know it, a dame walks in with a problem. Seems there’s dead pretty boy down by the water and the dame’s sister was the last to see him alive. Problem is the sister isn’t talking, or at least she isn’t saying anything worth hearing. Dead in the Water follows Mack as he solves the mystery of how Narcissus died and what, if anything, that has to do with Echo. The story opens with Mack in his office and a voice over narrates his thoughts as Melissa walks in with an incoherent Echo in tow. She outlines the problem, which we watch in cutaways, and turns to the detective for help. Mack reluctantly agrees and, after a brief bit of legwork, cracks the case.
Oh yeah, my nerd noir is in full force ;-)
