Well this morning was eventful. Elery injured himself at work and ended up having to go to the ER for stitches. He cut his shin and said he could see the bone. Ew. All in all he got 6 stitches and a tetnaus shot. Poor thing, he hates needles. We went to St. Jo and that was the quickest ER trip ever! Last Monday, when I returned to work after vacation, I learned my supervisor had submitted her resignation while I was away. On Tuesday I was approached by the Program Director of my organization. I ordered our stove from Lowe's on August 31st. Later in that week, they called to let me know it had shipped and was on its way to their store. (They didn't have it in black at the store.) I took a half day on Thursday so I could work on the house before closing. Monday, I had off for the holiday. On Tuesday and Wednesday I stayed home as my husband, in honoring our marriage vows to share with one another, shared his cold with me. Closing is set for August 31st. We've received no further documentation that the windows have been ordered but our Realtor says she called Lowe's to confirm. The windows are supposed to be in August 22nd/23rd. Yesterday we went to the house to scrape the garage. Well, we planned to power wash it.
