So, after spending about 6months looking at houses in Frederick and getting depressed because $150k will only buy you a fixer-upper that's missing key house features like FLOORS, I found a solution: HAGERSTOWN!! or, more specifically, Washington County. Talked to the loan officer lady and she said I would be approved for ballpark $170k FHA loan. Thanks to the two programs I will be in by next week, I'll have the $25k down payment and we can start signing paperwork!!
