my pup-pups
Myra and Othello "help" set up the office =) They'll be 2yrs old in July and they weighed in at about 70lbs last checkup.

They're mix breed pitbull-rottweilers from the same litter. Othello was the runt! I was originally just going to get one dog and I had chosen Othello for his eyes (he has a no-nonsense look about him that makes him look like an old dog), but then Myra crawled into my lap and fell asleep. She was the only puppy who interacted with me beyond Othello's "You're An Asshole And I've Got Things To Do" Face.
Myra's happy face! I seriously think she's a bit slow... but she's so lovable. =)
I can't see how people can demonize these breeds. Dogs of any breed need discipline just like children and they grow up in much the same way - show them love and they become good pups; mistreat them and you've got a ticking time bomb. Myra and Othello have the same genes that people are terrified of and they're still good dogs despite the bias.
