I went for a visit to my new school yesterday. Camden's Early Childhood Development Center. The school is brand new, pretty much, and beautiful. The library is...small. Well, no, work isn't exactly relaxing. But this is the last week I'll see the kids (a whole other post full of sad and boo!) and no more book check out. Books returning, and loads of shelf reading. Shelf reading means we look at the spine labels of each and every book and make sure they are in the proper order.

The board approved me (though I heard it second hand from one of the secretaries at my son's school, which is in the same district), and it's official: I will be the librarian for the final three months of school. I THINK I'll be starting near the end of the month.

So look forward to all sorts of elementary school library goodness. LOL.

it's hot. No, I'm not being overly dramatic. I woke  up at 7:15 and turned on the TV and the temp thing on the Philly morning show said...85 degreees.

The signing.... well.... I can't get down about it. Not at all. It was for a library, and I always enjoy being at the library, because they're not in it for the money, but just to see that people have something to read.
