Been using time productively this week. Started and finished video project for Media class (audio project garnered an A, thank you), and bibliography project for YA Lit. Still reading like a madwoman, but we're up to the SF/Fantasy week, so I'm totally in my element. Compared to last semester, this is a total vacation!

Well, no, work isn't exactly relaxing. But this is the last week I'll see the kids (a whole other post full of sad and boo!) and no more book check out. Books returning, and loads of shelf reading. Shelf reading means we look at the spine labels of each and every book and make sure they are in the proper order.

*Rutgers Grad School application: done. I mean, done insofar as filled out, personal statement and all, and submitted. They will contact my list of people to send letters of recommendation, and I still need to send in my transcripts and take the GRE. Which I registered for yesterday, and cannot take until June 19. The board approved me (though I heard it second hand from one of the secretaries at my son's school, which is in the same district), and it's official: I will be the librarian for the final three months of school. I THINK I'll be starting near the end of the month.

So look forward to all sorts of elementary school library goodness. LOL.
