Saturday drive-by posting
*Rutgers Grad School application: done. I mean, done insofar as filled out, personal statement and all, and submitted. They will contact my list of people to send letters of recommendation, and I still need to send in my transcripts and take the GRE. Which I registered for yesterday, and cannot take until June 19. There were spots open before then, but nothing on a weekend. School doesn't end until June 17, and the first opportunity after that is the 19 th. At 8:00 am. But it gives me, what, seven weeks? to study for it. Which I have been. I need to take some of those practice tests, just as soon as I'm through reviewing math and vocab words. I really like this study guide I got from Princeton Review; it's not just 'here's how to do the math and a bunch of words' but there are great test-taking strategies.
*Application for Southern will be done soon, but then I have to gather all the same stuff - including hard copies of letters of rec. and GRE scores, and send it in before Sept.1. So no worries about that one just yet.
*Meantime I have to also finish up this semester, including finals and two papers. I'm nearly finished the reading for the semester, and have started gathering sources for the papers. I need to come up with theses and outline them.
*Book Fair at work is in two weeks. I'm nearly ready.
