Sunday was JLPT-N2. I actually went in pretty unprepared, because the past month I've been very busy at work, so I literally just read through some old notes in the morning and vaguely revised the types of questions that would come up, and just hecked it. Despite all my whinging about how expensive my Japanese classes are (I had to fork over 383 in cash today!), I do enjoy them. I just kind of wish I was a full time student again so I can actually finish all the "extra" stuff I do for japanese classes. Like copying over all the vocab to my notebooks. Grammar too. 1. Yesterday was Cosfest + Cosmo. Haruko, Tash, Jasmine and Mei-chan came over and squeezed into my room in the morning to cut wigs, put on makeup and dress up. Haruko's Momohime was LOVELY. I recently started taking Japanese classes back at Ikoma again. Loads of very familiar things, like the receptionists, and even the little musical ditty that plays at the beginning of the Minna No Nihongo video, all things I haven't seen or heard in a while, that makes me smile ( Read more... )

Somewhat a reply to my previous post on having a lot of enthusiasm suddenly for non-work work, most of what I had mentioned in that post have been set in motion... Happy Chinese New Year One and All!

Today was a very interesting day indeed. Nat and I went down to Merlion Park to meet two Japanese strangers and had a hell of a time!

( Met and talked to 6 strangers today: 2 Japanese guys, 1 Japanese lady, 2 Singaporean guys, and 1 Australian guy... )
