Cosfest + Speech Contest
1. Yesterday was Cosfest + Cosmo. Haruko, Tash, Jasmine and Mei-chan came over and squeezed into my room in the morning to cut wigs, put on makeup and dress up. Haruko's Momohime was LOVELY. The You're Under Arrest cosplay with Tash and Jasmine was amazingly fulfilling. I like how all the fanboys came out of the woodwork.
2. Today was Japanese Speech Contest. I did my very best, and I personally felt I couldn't have delivered my speech any better than I did, but I lost to the guy because his speech's theme was better than mine. Will have to work on my speech-writing and topic-picking skills. Yes. I got second in the open category, which means I'm raring to go another round. ^_^
By the way, for my speech contest price, I got a brand new Hitachi 32" LCD TV. I haven't checked with my family yet, but most likely we wouldn't be using it, since we already have 2 LCD TVs in the house. Would anyone want to buy it off me? Probably willing to let it go for like S$500 - S$600.
3. Bern as Luffy, Jasmine as Nami, Haruko as Sanji and Tash as ??, is the most awesome last minute One Piece cosplay group EVER. Wish I was there to catch all the fun and see Haruko's fangirls. Muahahaha.
