Things set in motion... run too damn fast.
Somewhat a reply to my previous post on having a lot of enthusiasm suddenly for non-work work, most of what I had mentioned in that post have been set in motion... Problem with me is that surges of enthusiasm lead to lack of planning or common sense. I.e. I've managed to pack my schedule too full again! Hahaha.
My typical week is going to be:
1. 1 hour of yoga starting from next monday and for the next 7 mondays after that.
2. 1 hour of partner salsa dance on tuesdays, possibly switching to friday class on the 18th of June because this set would have finished.
3. 3 hours of Japanese class at Ikoma, on wednesday nights, starting from this wednesday, for the next 10 weeks.
4. ?? hours of salsa social dancing on Friday nights, around 9 to 11PM.
Other than that, I will be
1. Going for Salsa Auditions tomorrow evening, which, if I get through, will increase my salsa hours, by another 1 hour of body movement class (possibly on sat) and 3 hours of rehearsals (possibly on sat too I'm hoping), starting around July. (Though given my schedule I might not take this up after all)
2. Preparing for the Japanese Speech Contest on the 4th of July (yes that's Cosfest Day 2), I just received notice that I got through to the semi-finals, so I'd have to start going over to Itou-sensei's house to practise my speech delivery, first for the recording, and then if I get into the finals (based on the recording), the actual day performance.
3. Somewhat affecting number 2 is the fact that I'm going to Japan with Christie from the 17th to 26th of June. Tickets are booked, parents informed, money set aside. Given that I'd only know whether I got into the Speech Contest finals on the 11th of June, and the contest itself is on the 4th of July...
4. As if this wasn't enough, Tash, Jasmine and I have recently decided on our Cosfest cosplay plans! Fortunately, it's a simple-ish costume. Will see whether we can do this costume on Sat (the day before speech contest?) and then I just won't do my Hakuouki on Sunday if I can't make it down in time.
So. Yoga, Salsa, Japanese Classes, Japanese Speech Contest, Japan Trip, Cosplay.
Not to mention work.
