A frustrating day.  Not necessarily a horrid one just annoying.  Virginia is off at a camp in Colorado from June 15 to July 11th.  We didn't pack allergy medicine because they required me to send a doctors note for over the counter medicine.  I didn't notice this requirement until the day before she left so I chose to leave it out.  Big mistake.

I just got off the phone with Chris.  He decided to hold off on some info until after he was back from San Francisco.  On the way up there, around 6 pm on Sunday, the Honda overheated.  They managed to limp it to the next town and to a garage where they left it.  The tow truck driver took them to the nearby airport and they had to rent a car.  His ( Read more... )

Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.  We got to the museum at 10:30 thinking that it opened at 10.  It opened at 11.  There was another exhibit (Asian art) across the street that was open so we killed half an hour there.  Once there, we headed to the children's part of the museum.  There were hands on exhibits and places to make your own ( Read more... )

Chris' car is in the shop, again!  The check engine light started coming on a couple of days after he got it back.  He took it back to the shop.  They replaced the distributer to see if it was causing the problem but nothing changed.  After digging thru the different codes, they  have determined that it is the catalitic converter.  Another $300 ( Read more... )

Doesn't anyone sell bedspreads anymore?  Not quilts, not comforters, but simple bedspreads?  I have found a grand total of 1 (I want 2 and they need to match) at Bed Bath & Beyond and it was $79!  That was more than full on quilts I found at Target!  I live in the world of hot and would like a nice bedspread, not too heavy, to make the bunk beds ( Read more... )
