For crying out loud.  Ever since they loaded the "new look" every time I do any blessed thing I have to log in again.  And it won't let me log in to change my password to something I will actually remember instead of the one they sent me.  Anyone else having this problem?

Yesterday I officially took over the chairmanship of the Art Society Board Speakers Bureau, which will be helpful as many of the team have been contacting me already and I have had to defer to the previous chair, even though she and I both knew I was going to be taking over.  So that's done and I can add yet another responsibility to my life.

Wasted (?) almost a day in Second LIfe yesterday.  Got stuck in a wall, spent way too much time updating my AV, and then got lost in a scary dark place with a guy in black clothing and white dreds, and was finally rescued by a nice guy named Brad.  Can't wait to go back!

Oops -- Vivace is at the Lassiter Mill or Hill shopping center, which is across the street from North Hills, but it's all the same to me -- I only go down there to eat at Vivace, go to the symphony box office, or to shop at REI!

Finished Anthem last night; didn't much like it.  I appreciate some of Ayn Rand's philosophy (people should be able to enjoy the fruits of their own labors) but the whole Ego thing just didn't work for me.  Weird story, but fits my dystopic theme.

Just finished Aeon Flux (the graphic novel) also and it's REALLY difficult tio see where the movie ( Read more... )
