I opened my e-mail this afternoon and was delighted to see the latest issue of Knitty waiting for me! And after having looked through almost everything, I've decided this is what I'm going to make with the luscious spring yarn my mother has. I am so excited!!

Here are two pictures of my lovely new knee socks! You can tell they're hand made because one is longer than the other. I don't know how I do these things. *shakes head*

The first weekend of spring break is over. And I haven't touched my cello. My fingers feel rather stiff today, but on the other hand it's been nice to be a normal person for a change. ;) One who doesn't have to practice four hours every day and go to dozens of rehearsals on top of that. Well, I'm down to the end. I'm glad the semester's over, but I can't believe that it's gone. At times the semester felt like it was dragging along (the month of October felt like a year), but it zoomed by at the end. So I just tried on this sock that I've been working on. All well and good, except for the fact that it's too big! I cut short the lower leg length, as I have short legs.
