So after reading a friend's journal, I realize that I, too, do not update my LJ enough. I blame work, and rehearsal, etc.
Nothing much going on. I have one last recital to play in tomorrow and it should be interesting. I have to keep playing sharper as the clarinettist goes sharp. (That's the way with winds: as you warm up the instrument, they get sharper. The trick is to play with someone who realizes that and adjusts accordingly.)
I have a whole bunch of knitting projects that I can't wait to start on, once I get all the yarn.
I come back East on the 14th of May, which is a month away! Yay! I am very excited, as I really need a break from this town. I'm getting bored with it.
I am finishing the last book in Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising sequence and am enjoying it thoroughly.
My immediate supervisor and I are working on the front display case at the library, which is looking quite good, if I do say so myself. It means work recently has been a lot like Art class, which is a blast! I got to work with sticky vinyl to cover cardboard and then cut out letters and adhere them to the boards. Such fun with an Exacto knife I have never before had.
We were supposed to get 18 inches of snow Thursday night and Friday morning but didn't. However, since I had been expecting it, I thought, "All the flowers that have started to bloom are going to die!" So I went to school and rescued a bunch of tulips. They look beautiful.
I'm ready for spring, though. It's too cold for it to be April.

omg so cool!,
