Today is my birthday and it feels surreal to be thinking about it and celebrating with everything going on in the world. Since March, my life has been fairly quiet as all the libraries are closed so I've been staying home. After a long summer, I'm working again at a new library with one of the fastest turnarounds I've ever had from interview to hired. They let the staffing agency know they wanted to hire me before I even was home from the interview. Also I discovered that the temp agency has a really good reputation which is nice. The Democratic debate is on and I'm watching and they started right in the heart of it with healthcare which hurt more that I'd expected. Tuesday would have been my sister's 54th birthday and missing her has been threading through my life so much this year. Its made for a rough summer with a mix of good and bad. I started today very early in the morning to meet with a realtor that was recommended by a friend of my father's in the area. She's a realtor and works with him. My mother and I saw three places and the second one was amazing and only put on the market yesterday.
