The big day finally came and went. It started out innocently enough. Thirty some odd people packed into a small conference room; the sum of all the workers in our office. I had crying spells all morning. I couldn't figure out why I was crying. Finally was able to stop. I couldn't sleep hardly at all last night. Got in maybe three and a half hours. The xanax knocked me out. Slept from ten at night until two o'clock this afternoon. I think that's quite possibly the longest a human being can sleep. And then I woke up starving and totally gorged myself on leftover pizza. I'd forgotten that xanax is one of those pills that increases my appetitie.

My entire school schedule I signed up for - sans one class which has been dropped - works with my work schedule. Sure, some days I'm driving right from work to Spanish. I received my schedule from H&R Block.

The bad thing? I don't start working regularly until the week of the 22nd. The good news? I'm on a good forty hours per week which will maske this the first full-time employment I've managed to secure.

I just found out that before we are put on the schedule in our offices, we have to do a dress rehearsel under the supervision of the district manager who then has to approve us in order for us to start work. A whole exercise where the point is to be judged. Great.

We're still working on soft skills but there are million little things that they bring up that we're supposed to remember. Never schedule a first-time customer with a first-year tax professional.
