[A creepy hobo lady is watching her from a tree branch]

[Looks up from the ground and has to work hard to keep her face from turning straight to fear. Instead she gives a shaky smile, stands, and gestures to the snow angels.]

[Aughra looks at the ground, but apparently doesn't see anything interesting about the snow angels.] Lie down in cold things, nothing good happen.

[Nill traces in the snow with the toe of her boot:]

[ Heine sits down beside one of the angel imprints, and waits for her to finish making her next one before he speaks. ]

I'm going somewhere, Nill.

[She sits up quickly, snow sticking to her blonde hair as she looks to him. Both curiosity and worry are evident on her face when she stands and steps over to him. Her wings try to flutter, pushing against the confines of her coat.]

[ He's not sure how to explain this and not worry her. He looks up at her, elbows on his knees while he chooses his words. ]

I'm going to another country. Not for long. A week, maybe more.

[She knew that he was going to leave again eventually, she just hadn't known when. And a week isn't so bad. It'll give her time to work on his present. She reaches out to place her gloved hand lightly on his cheek and smiles a little bit. Nill tilts her head to the side: Where?]

[As luck would have it, Zatanna was out for a stroll. Not particularly close to her house, but she had been coming home from stopping by the Institute and decided it might not be too bad to walk part way and get more used to her new surroundings. As it stood, the magician wasn't exactly the most well-versed in the area, with or without a map. It wasn't so cold that she couldn't handle it and would freeze to death, so she saw no reason to avoid it.

Taking a detour through the park and enjoying the scenery, she comes upon what might just be the cutest thing she's ever had the good fortune of witnessing. So not to scare the girl, Zatanna raises a hand first, giving a little wave.] Hello, Nill. [Then, cautiously, begins to approach with a wide smile spread across her face.]

[Nill hears the voice and sits up, snow-angel half finished. She sees Zatanna, and smiles a bit, waving back. She liked Zee, and was happy to see her. The blonde girl stood slowly, making sure not to ruin her angel, and gestured towards it proudly.]

That's very pretty. Is this your first time making a snow angel? [Less cautious now that she's recognized, she comes up beside the girl, fumbling for her comm, using it to take a photo.] There. I'll send this to you so you can remember it, all right?

[Nill nods at the question, and then blinks at the sudden flash from the camera. That is the first time she's had her picture taken, so you know. But she doesn't ask; maybe it was just a fluke. She smiles at the offer, and then gestures to the ground. Does Zee want to make an angel? I bet she does.]

[It's the weekend! Which means zero classes at the Institute (even if the concept of having classes in another dimension hasn't quite settled in just yet). Jay takes off with a long jacket covering his wings and the guitar case's strap around his right arm. He's walking around the park, maybe trying to find a place where inspiration might strike. You never know.

He stops when he notices the girl in the snow. She seems familiar, somehow. The boy can't help but smile a bit at her amusement.]

[She had just finished making her third angel when she felt as if someone was watching her. Nill sat up and slowly looked around, finally spotting someone who looked... really familiar. When she recognized him as Jay, a smile flicked over her face. She saw the long coat and guessed that he'd wanted to keep his wings warm just like she had. She stood and kept her distance, but waved all the same.]

[Jay waved softly at her, still trying to place a name on the face -- she was definitely familiar. Once he finally occurred to him, he decided to step a little closer.]

Hi, Nill.

[Nill smiles when he says her name; she likes it when people say it. She doesn't know why. Maybe it was because before she met Heine, nobody ever did. Her name was one of the few things she could hold on to to remind her that she was a real person, not just a thing to be used for pleasure. She didn't step away, and didn't even look scared like she usually did when around men. She still thought he was an angel, and from what she'd learned, angels didn't usually hurt people.]

[ Teddy is out and about for a walk, because he's quite fond of snow when it isn't being shoved down the back of his shirt or something. He's distracted from his wanderings, though, by the sight of a girl making snow angels, which is kind of terribly charming. And adorable. Teddy slows, though he doesn't entirely stop. As a result of this, he ends up absent mindedly walking into a bench.

Smooth. ]

... Ow.

[Nill doesn't even notice his presence until she hears the "ow". Then she sits straight up and looks around until she sees this person near the bench. Oh that must have hurt. She just stares for a second, not making any move to get closer, and then offers a slight wave.]

[ Once Teddy is done pulling faces and rubbing his knee, he notices the girl wave to him out of the corner of his eye. He turns, with a slightly bashful smile, and waves back. Sadly his little fail was still witnessed. ]

[She's not totally used to being asked what she thinks out in public by someone she doesn't know, so it takes her a moment to form an answer. Or at least, a gesture. She nods to him, and smiles a bit.]
