[Looks up from the ground and has to work hard to keep her face from turning straight to fear. Instead she gives a shaky smile, stands, and gestures to the snow angels.]

[Aughra looks at the ground, but apparently doesn't see anything interesting about the snow angels.] Lie down in cold things, nothing good happen.

[Nill traces in the snow with the toe of her boot:]

[She peers again] Angels? What those?

[Silent, mental sigh. This is going to be so difficult to explain. She thought for a moment, and then traced:]

[It takes Aughra a while to make this one out.] Women, then? Men don't have wings.

[Nill pauses, and then shakes her head. Jay had wings, and Warren had had wings, too.]
