[It's the weekend! Which means zero classes at the Institute (even if the concept of having classes in another dimension hasn't quite settled in just yet). Jay takes off with a long jacket covering his wings and the guitar case's strap around his right arm. He's walking around the park, maybe trying to find a place where inspiration might strike. You never know.

He stops when he notices the girl in the snow. She seems familiar, somehow. The boy can't help but smile a bit at her amusement.]

[She had just finished making her third angel when she felt as if someone was watching her. Nill sat up and slowly looked around, finally spotting someone who looked... really familiar. When she recognized him as Jay, a smile flicked over her face. She saw the long coat and guessed that he'd wanted to keep his wings warm just like she had. She stood and kept her distance, but waved all the same.]

[Jay waved softly at her, still trying to place a name on the face -- she was definitely familiar. Once he finally occurred to him, he decided to step a little closer.]

Hi, Nill.

[Nill smiles when he says her name; she likes it when people say it. She doesn't know why. Maybe it was because before she met Heine, nobody ever did. Her name was one of the few things she could hold on to to remind her that she was a real person, not just a thing to be used for pleasure. She didn't step away, and didn't even look scared like she usually did when around men. She still thought he was an angel, and from what she'd learned, angels didn't usually hurt people.]

[He remembered Nill couldn't speak, so... he looked at her snow angels again, trying to think of something to fill up the silence. He figured they'd be better off with 'yes' or 'no' questions.]

Are you here by yourself?

[She's somewhat thankful for the choice in easy question. She didn't want to take up too much space in the snow writing with her feet. Nill nods, and then tilts her head at him, reciprocating the question.]

Yeah. [a soft nod.] Couldn't really get anyone to come with me.

Do you like it here?

[She just hadn't asked anyone to go with her; in fact, she wasn't sure if anybody actually knew where she was. She hadn't taken the time to text Danny or Luke on her new phone to let them know. Oops. She'd just have to do it soon.

At his question, she nods, brushing snow out of her blonde hair. It wasn't so bad, really. It was definitely better than the whorehouse, anyway, and she can see the sky, which wasn't something that happened at the church often.]

[He smiled back at her, acknowledging her answer. Jay then became absentminded for a moment, remembering how it was like... when he spent Christmas with his family. Before Sam or Paige left. Before he left.

He focused on Nill again.]

I thought I'd walk around for another while. Wanna come with me?

[The offer surprised her, but she didn't think there was any harm in accepting. He was nice, and she didn't feel frightened of him. He didn't seem like the kind of person who would hurt her. So she nodded, pulling the over-sized hood over her head and brushing some of the fuzzy fur from her face so she could see where she was going.]

[Jay waited, hands in his jacket's pockets. He shrugged softly when she offered her answer and prepared to follow, slowly stepping along the rest of the park.

He remained in silence, looking up from time to time. It was an acquired habit for someone could fly. Jay wasn't sure what he could say at this point, so he simply walked with her.]

[Nill didn't mind the silence, even though she was usually the one to provide it. It was nice to be with someone, though; not that she'd been getting lonely in the park. She just enjoyed having company. As they walked, the blonde girl kicked up a bit of snow with her boots, looking down to watch it land in piles among its chilly brethren.]

[Jay continues to walk, looking down at her feet when she kicks up the snow.]

Are you used to having snow? [Focus is back on her face.] Where you come from?

[She shakes her head; in the Underground, there really wasn't any kind of weather to worry about. It was all just stagnant and dry. Nill looks questioningly to him, reciprocating the question.]

Yeah, but... not the kind of snow you see here.

[She tilted her head to the side; she didn't know that there were other kinds of snow.]
