[ Heine sits down beside one of the angel imprints, and waits for her to finish making her next one before he speaks. ]

I'm going somewhere, Nill.

[She sits up quickly, snow sticking to her blonde hair as she looks to him. Both curiosity and worry are evident on her face when she stands and steps over to him. Her wings try to flutter, pushing against the confines of her coat.]

[ He's not sure how to explain this and not worry her. He looks up at her, elbows on his knees while he chooses his words. ]

I'm going to another country. Not for long. A week, maybe more.

[She knew that he was going to leave again eventually, she just hadn't known when. And a week isn't so bad. It'll give her time to work on his present. She reaches out to place her gloved hand lightly on his cheek and smiles a little bit. Nill tilts her head to the side: Where?]

Africa.

[ She doesn't look so upset. That makes this easier. And Luke and Danny are here to protect her. If Bishop can't be here to do it, they're the next best thing. ]

[She has no idea where Africa is. But it sounds like it's probably far away. She makes a mental note to get a map and look it up, or just ask Luke and Danny. But if he's going to go, she knows there's nothing she can do to stop him. All she really can do is wait for him.]

[ Heine sighs quietly. He's never been all that good at reassuring words. ]

I'll be okay.

[brevipennate]

[A smile at that. She knows. He's always okay. He always comes back in mostly one piece. And then she'll have to learn to sew his clothing better, because she has no doubt that it'll come back full of holes.]

Stay away from the twins while I'm gone.

[ They were dangerous. If something happened to her while he was away, Heine didn't know what he'd do. ]

[Nill nods. She wasn't planning on going around them; anyway, Lily was the one who was going to deliver those cookies to them. She tilts her head back to look up at him: Stay safe.]

I think I'll be back for Christmas.

[ Not that Heine cares. But he knows Nill does, so he'll do his best to get back in time. ]

[She smiles at that. She does have a present for him, after all, and she really hopes he likes it. It'll be their first real Christmas, after all. She wants it to be special.]
