Last saturday we went to Jeroen's uncles. I always like going there, we have a great time with them, and yesterday was no exception either. It was a very pleasant evening accompanied by AWESOME food. I hadn't gotten around to posting about our last weekend. First I had a dinner with the people from the shelter, it was quite nice and the food was great. It was one of those wok buffet places where you can eat as much as you like and they prepare it right in front of you ( Read more... )

I just came home not long ago, this time I just stuffed myself with a sandwich rather than hitting the shower straight after working at the shelter. I was starving! Today was quite busy for me. It started by going to the animal shelter again, this time I was allowed to clean one section all on my own. Jeroen's brother has become a father today! It was a girl. :D

Unfortunately I don't know how to spell her name yet so I will wait till I get the card ;)

In the meantime, welcome to the world, little niece!

ETA: Her name is Bente. :) Now it's up to me to come up with all sorts of cutesey nicknames ;D

We're back home after spending a really nice weekend with Jeroen's family somewhere in Bredevoort. It was a very nice big house suited to cater for 30-50 people, so there was room enough for everyone. Today we're off for a family weekend with Jeroen's mom's side of the family. I think lots of people will be there, so it should be fun.
