Busy day!

Today was quite busy for me. It started by going to the animal shelter again, this time I was allowed to clean one section all on my own. Part of me thinks that was because the management wasn't there and the other girls didn't think I could mess up too much. ;) So I did a whole section on my own (not packed to its full capacity though so only about 7 cages had to be cleaned) and I felt proud that all went well.

I did tip over some litter trays cause I probably didn't stack them up correctly but no big harm, just scooped up everything and into the trash :) We were done early again, I guess it helps that there are not too many cats in quarantine, but once the summer comes they are expecting full capacity plus new cages might need to be added to cope with the amount of animals that run away through open doors and are never claimed back. :(

All in all, it was a good day, I also helped around with cleaning the lobby hall and by 12 I was done with my tasks so I headed home for a well deserved shower.

After lunch I cycled downtown to get a gift for the new baby girl in the family. We went to visit them this evening and we were glad to hear that mother and daughter are doing fine. We wish them all the best!

While I was downtown I also looked around for the new Guitar Hero Metallica game, but turns out they only sold it with a guitar. We have over nine thousand guitars already (ok, more like three LOL) and I wasn't in the mood to get YET another one so I thought "screw it" LOL. Jeroen was glad I didn't get it, he actually found the game without additional instruments at bol.com and we bought it from there. Now we wait! :) Hope the postman will deliver it soon!

I also treated me to new running shorts and to the disney movie BOLT. We'll probably watch it this weekend. :)

Got no otherplans, probably go to fitness tomorrow and then be lazy, so yay! It's going to be great weather too, so to all dutchies out there: Enjoy!!!
