What I did on my summer vacation:

-Drove the bulk of Missouri (the state that covers about half of the 600+ mile journey) both ways.
-Got a new cousin and my aunt got two new grandkids.

Hello, all.

Just dropping in to let anyone who cares that I'm back home.  I had a fantastic trip to Oklahoma and will write about it tomorrow once my brain recovers from traveling 600+ miles today.

I'm leaving for Oklahoma this afternoon and won't be back till Saturday.  So don't be surprised if this goes dead for a few days.

Since these are my last few hours with a high-speed internet connection, I figured I'd give this thing one last update before moving into my aunt and uncle's house later today.  It'll be broken up under cuts in case you don't want to read parts (or all) of it.

Some random thoughts about Spring Break:

-I freaking love college basketball.  March is like a month-long Christmas for me and many, many other Hoosiers.  Three games in overtime yesterday, the upsets, the Cinderella teams... it just makes me sigh happily.  My friends in Kentucky don't understand this.  I turned on a game and asked why I was getting ( Read more... )
