I finally gave in and went to the doctor about my injured hand, which hasn't healed in the slightest. She sent me in for x-rays, thinking that it may be fractured after all. I'll probably find out the results sometime tomorrow. In any case, she gave me methylprednisolone to see if we can't kickstart the healing process via cortical steroids. I can' ( Read more... )

I have psoriatic arthritis. Big shocker. Anyway, the good news is that it's treatable and that it hasn't done any permanent damage yet. Hurrah! The bad news is that the treatment involves a drug that's used in chemotherapy and which can have nasty side effects. Hurrooh.
