We're starting to get things in order around here. Sharon's been busy riding at a barn around here (horses incase anyone doesn't understand ;), and we're probably buying the horse she's been half boarding. Yesterday we got our first rain in 143 days! It rained all day, and it was nice to have rain, but it rained on our parade, so we couldn't take the Hound dog for her St. Patty's day Basset Waddle parade. Sharon bought a hat for her and everything ( Read more... )

Tonight Sharon and I brewed up a simple hefe we got at our local brew store. We got it about a week ago when bought the bottles for the Pale Ale. So tonight we finally had some time when we were both home. I've got all the info and a couple pictures up at:

Last Monday night we bottled our first beer. So in about a week we'll be drinking it, and hopefully it will turn out good. :)

It didn't taste too bad (obviously missing the carbonation. ;). So I think it will turn out okay. We'll see though.
