Casey's last day of school is a week from Tuesday. GAH, no more elementary! So now I'm working on the details of her summer child care. I have her enrolled in the middle school camp, but that's only June and July. So I'm going to leave her with my dad for that week and a half in between. For years I have had it in my head that the Florida law is that you can't leave your child at home alone until they are 12. I mentioned it to Christine the other day and she said she didn't think it was true. So I looked it up, and what do you know... there isn't a law that specifies age. There is HUGE brush fire in Central Florida that has been going on since yesterday. It sucks, but I didn't think much of it because it wasn't really near us.
