I just finished rereading the entire Harry Potter series last night. Geez, I've forgotten a lot! My palms were sweating through the whole last half of Deathly Hallows...

Man, years down the line and I still can't believe it's over (and how cheesy the epilogue was--but I'll leave that for my review...).

I indulged today when I got to the children's books' section--and bought Ramona the Pest.

Tonight is going to be such a blast to the past! Is it just me who loved this book or what?

For anybody who's been keeping up with my LJ lately, there has been an awfully-sinful lot of food talk circulating around. I'm here to add to the expanding bulk (so to speak--I hope I'm not actually building up stored fat just talking about it so much!).

...was Father's Day, so I vegetated as usual until noon before I got up, which was great because it was my last day at home before another week of work. My head is hurting from all the NOT READING I've been doing today. So we started reading Proust for my 20th century novel class, and we're currently "technically" on Volume II of "In Search of Lost Time" (I'm only halfway through Volume I).
