Despite being off work, job hunting has not happened this week because I have a cold. Even with medication, my brain is as full of sludge as my face. I've been up for two hours, and I'm ready to go back to bed. Work tonight is going to be interesting.

Work schedule shenanigans continue, because of course they do. I've decided I will check my schedule only once per day, screenshot it when I do (Macy's has a history of gaslighting me, though it hasn't happened at this store yet), and that will be my defense if I get barked at for not showing up for something. So Mom was here. That was pretty good, although she kept giving me sad looks because my life sucks. We had a hard time figuring out things to do, given the limitations of her checkbook (because she's paying my bills now) and my car (it's a bit scarier than usual.
