So last night Leticia and I go out to dinner, and we're still expecting to see the in-laws at some point, walking behind us, sitting down all the time, etc etc. It really hasn't sunk in yet that they're gone, and it'll probably take another day or two until it does. Leticia's parents have left! I'm so happy! Life will now return to some semblance of normal. :)

Sorry for the lack of posts, folks, had a VERY busy weekend. Thankfully, hanging out with Browncoats on Saturday in Long Beach AND on Sunday in Venice limited my exposure to the in-laws, but I do have some stories:

The in-laws will be in town for one more week. My contact with them this past weekend was VERY limited (thank YOU Browncoats) so I have little to report, thank GOD. One more week...I can't frigging wait...

Today, Leticia and her parents are going to Vegas for 2 days, and will be back on Friday. I'm so excited about the blessed quiet I'll have over the next couple of days. Sure, I'll be lonely and what not, but it's better than the alternative. ;)

So I get home from work to find them watching TV. What a shock, as that's what they're always doing. Anyway, once Leticia comes home, we head over to the Old Spaghetti Factory, where we basically sit in near silent for 20-30 minutes while we wait for our table.
