Although Blake and I have been members of #amnin since 1996, we had never actually seen NIN live, not even at a festival. All that changed on August 28, 2009.

FINALLY it is starting to warm up here in Chicago. It has been super chilly all the way through April, and now that it's May we are getting some sun and the flowers are starting to peek out. It's pretty amazing what it has done for everyone's moods! Now there are people out and about walking in our neighborhood all the time, and the city seems so ( Read more... )

It was -17 F° (-27 C°) this morning. On the news they were saying that this is the coldest day in Chicago in thirteen years. At least our pipes didn't freeze this time. Woohoo! This was the view out of our window.
