As has been remarked on before, Twitter totally killed LJ. I used to have the attention span to craft a post that would sum up a month or so of my life, but now I have those 140 characters to just post random thoughts and chat with my friends. We are off to Portland, OR, this morning!!!

This will be the first time since our honeymoon that we've been able to take an extended vacation, so we're going to go visit our friends Joe and Julie for a week. Those of you Portland natives (synthcat!) or people that have gone there, what do you recommend we see and do? :D
