I am torn about this decision:

I think fandom is way to hard on Gamble (for sexist reasons, very often) and that she gets blamed for a lot of stuff that isn't her fault. Particularly by impossible to please Cas fans (I say this as a Cas fan myself). She's written some of my very favourite eps, including 7x17 most recently, and she's been around ( Read more... )

I've been really into S7 until now, but that was just a huge fucking misstep.

Really offensive and deeply problematic fan repesentation aside, what a waste of guest star funds, seriously. What was the purpose of that character? Anybody?

I can sure think of a better way to spend your guest star money, Show...

I apologize for the delay in this post, and also for not having read anyone else's reactions yet. I waited for two reasons. First, I wanted to do a rewatch. Second, I wanted to let some of my thoughts settle before I posted. Early in the season I have a tendency to speak too soon, and say stuff I didn't mean.

1. I saw "The Social Network" last night. Man, that guy is a dick. I really enjoyed the film and thought it was very well-made. It could have easily been incredibly dull, but wasn't.
