A tornado (maybe two; they aren't sure) came through my little downtown last night. According to one station, the tornado went down Leroy, up Ellen, down Howard, then up Grange Hall. I've been a home owner for over a year now.  Seems I was too busy recovering from a Mom visit to notice.

During the first year in my condo I:
- bought new bedroom furniture
- bought new appliances
- got lots of artwork (3 of which I painted myself)
- used my new grill and patio furniture

• Finished eating sweatsock dinner from two nights ago for lunch this afternoon.  Went to the store to buy stuff to cook dinner tonight and ended up with "Tastes like burned dirt" pasta.  Hrmph.  Do NOT, under any circumstances, purchase Sinatra's pesto sauce.  VOMIT.

New condo, day 9.

Kitchen - done!
Living room - mostly done!
Appliances - All Working!  (Still have to chew out Best Buy for their HORRIBLE customer service)
Everything else - ugh.

About a week ago, I developed this HORRIBLE cough.  Nothing else - no fever, no aches, no snot.  Just a loud, constant, brutal cough.  Cough medicines don't touch it.  ( Read more... )
