Sunday was a heavy panel day, which kept me from getting so tired. I also did not have my camera after changing into Bellatrix, because there's no where to hide it when posing for pictures, which is just awkward. I subscribe to John Howe's newsletter. Not only is he a great artist, he's a rather amusing and thoughtful writer. His latest newsletter talks about the types of LOTR fans he meets. He also had some interesting comments on costumers in general.

Well, I had the brilliant idea that I would wear Luminara Unduli for Halloween this year, since I now have a lightsaber with a blade. When I wore it for the normals a few years ago, I got, "Are you a witch? Presenting my newest version of the “Lightsaber of Earendil.” It is my goal to have a “Lord Of the Rings” reference in all of my non LOTR costumes, though I haven’t managed that with Bellatrix yet.
