At work, our stereo system has been slowly spiralling downwards for about 2 years or so. The most recent event was the sudden clicking off of sound from the receiver/tuner while the CD player or radio was still playing. According to FF, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems) has sent him a notice claiming that, by law, he has to teach us a 45 minute saftey seminar per year and that we are supposed to receive certificates attesting to our attendance. Apparently, you need WHMIS training if you "work with or in proximity to a controlled product". I ( Read more... )
