I've been getting some good new arts input lately, so I thought I post a quick list of recommendations:

I know everyone is probably a year ahead of me on this, but I've started watching House thanks to Kate and am quite enjoying the puzzle-like nature of it.

So, after my last post, about five children came to meet us.  We talked and I smiled a lot in an attempt to deal with not having any clue what was being said most of the time.  They call my Catty.  Diane asked if they could call me Cat because it would be easier to say than Kathryn.  Somehow it have morphed into Catty, which I kind of like.  ( Read more... )

I forgot how relaxing drawing can be. This was fun, but the colors don't show up well here. I put charcoal on the back of a printed photo I took and traced out the main lines, then colored the outline.
