I don't mind the new look of the LJ friends page although I'd like to be able to change the color scheme and I don't know if that's possible as yet. I do like the new model of cut tags with the inline expansion that they rolled out previously - anyone complaining about not being able to imitate the look so that a link looks like a cut tag will have ( Read more... )

I like to stick to the provided journal styles these days with as few personalizations to the design as possible because a) there's less of the layout-broken-by-code-push thing, and b) I'm lazy and once I start tweaking, it all goes downhill from there. LJ has posted a Website Performance Update at lj_maintenance. Okay, so LJ has made a change to its tagging system. Before when you had multi-word tags, LJ would allow you to create it with a space (and that's how it would appear in your tags cloud/list) but would replace the space in the URL with a plus sign.
