1. I am trying to sign up for Michigan's No Worker Left Behind thing. Yesterday I had to take a reading/math test. We have to at least be at the 6th grade level in both. My score for reading was "12.9 +". For math, let's just say I passed and leave it at that.

I went to Washtenaw Community College today and filled out the forms to be admitted. I had the bright idea of possibly getting into nursing. Those are the jobs left in Michigan. That and Corrections Officer, but I have very little hope of being able to do 17 push-ups in 60 seconds, 13 sit-ups in 30 seconds, 40 trips in 2 minutes on first step ( ( Read more... )

1. I dug up every last bottle and can I have as well as all my loose change. I found a smallish storage container that had lots of change in it. I had a job interview at Blue Care Network today. It actually took me longer to drive there than the interview itself did because, they explained, they were conducting speed interviews all day. I was supposed to drive back home today. Not only did my car have a couple layers of ice on it, but D.'s dad came to pick him up & take him somewhere and he said the roads were not very good. Icy.
