I say "holidays", what I mean is a period of three weeks of sweet, creamy research & thesis writing to look forward to. I am as well.

Three weeks of no students, three weeks of a golden time where simulations can run through the simulated grass of a non-linear environment without interuption. Truly, we are (simulated) kings.

That's the major ESA report out of the door yesterday. It wasn't quite fiished, I could have safely spent another week on the report, but it probably would have only made a marginal improvement.

For a start, the trouble I have getting clothes to fit. I'm very tall, but quite skinny so small t-shirts are good for the width but crap for length. The one I'm wearing at the moment is fine but exposes my midriff to the elements :(

Just finished my postgraduate colloquium presentation, went quite well, I think.
It's hard to take two months' work and condence it iinto 10 mins (+ questions), but I think I did OK.
