i have had livejournaling on my agenda for about a month now. although low-tech, keeping a fine-grained text file agenda for an entire week at a time seems to have taken care of a lot of my minor woes, although there are still items such as this which never seem to get done. at some point playing guitar hero, i realized that i no longer had conscious control or even understanding of how i play the more difficult passages. after the fact i am generally surprised that my fingers have done the correct things, because i am convinced i did something else. this is similar to but subtly different from largely unconscious ( Read more... )

including all end-to-end overhead my commute averages an hour each way, though at least a third to a half of that i can sleep through, or could supposedly surf interwebs during if i were to lug my laptop around, and were awake. it does mean that, by the time i finish a standard dinner, there are just a couple hours of prime doing-things time left.
