ah, may. many things have happened, but most were expected given the state of things in april. the weather, for one, has been gorgeous lately. the broadway farmer's market opened, newly expanded. the dinner group made it through a full iteration. ann asserts that 75 is hot out, and while i disagree, we have purchased an air conditioner for my apartment.
my mom made it home, after months away between the hospital, rehab, and sub-acute care. she is not doing perfectly, but she is a lot better, and finally sounds like herself again on the phone.
my group moved to bellevue. i now have my own office, which is remarkably nice. it is an interior (non-window) office, on the 4th floor (out of 26), but there is a large amount of natural light, and through my boss's office i can see outside from mine. i have a view of the cascades?. otherwise, work's been really busy lately.
oh, and we've been playing plants vs. zombies. it is surprisingly good.
i also ate a bunch of tasty food.
