Keeping variety in my vacation schedule, work still creeps in -today work called twice on crap they could've
figured out among themselves. A visit to a fiber optics vendor, yielded a chance at revenge towards another vendor,

After nearly six weeks, work resumes with the D.C.Hex migration. The updated project plan now finishes the
second weekend of September -the original end date of mid-April now seems like a punchline.

Though today's a holiday, I do not possess a three-day weekend -I go into work on Saturday.

Due to the amount of channel issues stemming from last weekend's work -I wasn't present- and S.U.K.Nyet's skilled cable removal,

Henjar, S.U.K.Nyet's “lead” was removed from the project late last week after a series of “come to jesus” meetings.
These people won't learn but will respond to the stick; a slow process that's gotten tiresome.

Despite the extra personnel, none of their management follows up properly with their techs -who aren't present due to having day jobs.

No calls. Continued restless sleep due to visiting the data center last night to check up on a vendor's work with a
Sam Walton-style drop-in, asking questions of various parties and observing their documentation, process stage, etc.

The black cloud, capable of sending rain and hail is watching, waiting for the right time to strike. It's just kept the setbacks
manageable for now. There's still two big hurdles before we even attempt the go live: trunk and jumper testing.
