D.C.Hex Migration 07142011
After nearly six weeks, work resumes with the D.C.Hex migration. The updated project plan now finishes the
second weekend of September -the original end date of mid-April now seems like a punchline.
It's another full weekend requiring multiple hands. Wallair [new hire] and the intern are going to “help out” but they'll
each be paired with a tech from S.U.K.Nyet. That should free me up for the software changes related to the move.
There's some DASD repairs by International Beer Mafia on the older boxes that's bound to give us trouble but that will
be managed by Clivesdale with Ksam filling in the gaps.
Drama can't be escaped as it's the Year of the Black Cloud.
