Scotcharina and I took in Dixie Witch at Double Wide, a nice trashy dive with trashier drinks.
The live music room is very small, which really showcased the band's sound as they used the PA mainly for
drums/vocals with their amps filling out the rest balanced nicely with the bass carrying the mids.
The band's a "power trio" that's a southern rock-Sabbath, "boogie doom" if you will. New LP coming out in September.
Late night for us but the variety is nice -it's the first time we've seen live music together, good thing we have some common tastes.
