I've been a tennis fan rather than a media fan this week; the only TV I've watched has been the US Open and the news. Well, and the Leverage finale, but that's all I had time for. Which yes, means I haven't watched the White Collar summer finale, or The Vampire Diaries season premiere, or Project Runway, or any of it.

It is difficult to work up the oomph to go to work when 1) you only have to work 3 hours (due to working the other 5 earlier in the week, and 2) your boss won't be there, so the only thing you'll be doing is waiting for the phone to ring or the email to come in. *sigh ( Read more... )

You know, I can't remember the last time I wanted to go see something in the theater more than, say, twice. At most. It's been years. Time was, if I really enjoyed a movie, I'd see it a bunch in the theater.
