I've been a tennis fan rather than a media fan this week; the only TV I've watched has been the US Open and the news. Well, and the Leverage finale, but that's all I had time for. Which yes, means I haven't watched the White Collar summer finale, or The Vampire Diaries season premiere, or Project Runway, or any of it.

Went on something of an icon binge just now. The one above is not actually new, but it's new-ish and I kind of forgot I had it, which is sad. It should be used more.

Craziness at the women's semifinal's tonight. First, thanks to it drizzling on and off all day, it didn't start until 9:30 or so - CBS played half an episode of Numb3rs at 9 instead of forcing their commentators to come up with more stuff to talk about on-air. Then things got interesting. ( Spoilers for the women's US Open semifinals )
